4 simple ways to take better care of yourself

Taking care of yourself is extremely important, more so know in this hyper busy period we live in. Busyness is celebrated so much that some people neglect to care for the bodies, and nurture themselves in a way that allows them to recharge and prepare for future challenges. I don’t know about you but when I get too busy my body warns me through headaches and sore throats basically saying “Girl! I you don’t sit your a** down somewhere!” If the warning gets ignored I’ll get sick and will be forced to stay in bed for a day or two.

These are some ways we can take better care of ourselves

1 Have a good meal

It doesn’t matter if it is breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a snack, have a meal you look forward to. Make sure its a meal where you aren’t rushed and can savor your meal.

2 Workout

A good sweaty workout gets rid of toxins and boosts your endorphins, giving  you a happiness boost and keeping sickness away for another day.

3 Hang out with friends

When life gets busy one of the first people we abandon are our friends. We don’t mean to do it, but this sucky reality happens quite a bit. Make time for your friends, and spend real time with them where you talk or go on a simple trip to target. Your emotional well being will thank you.

4 Indulge in a hobby

Doing something solely for your own pleasure is a good way to challenge yourself and maintain motivation in other areas of your life. Find something you enjoy doing or want to learn, and carve out time to make it happen
